From Adagio for Strings Op. 11 Latin Only-A terrific SATB setting of Samuel Barber’s popular Agnus Dei (or Lamb of God). Taken from his 1936 composition Adagio for Strings Op.11 it is among the most familiar pieces of American concert music and has graced Film and Television with it’s poignant sincerity. It is a dignified simple work with the repetition of a rhapsodic section that rises to a climax the intensity gradually building and then falling away following the ‘arch’ form tradition. This is a wonderful Latin Text version of Agnus Dei and has been transcribed effectively for Full Mixed Chorus and optional Piano accompaniment.

SATB a cappella-The third of three poems by James Stephens which have been set to music by Barber. For a cappella SATB chorus.

Barber's Twelfth Night from Opus 42 with text by Laurie Lee arranged for SATB chorus a cappella. A Piano accompaniment is provided for rehearsal purposes.

2010 marked the 100th anniversary of the birth of Samuel Barber with a new complete edition of his classic Reincarnations with historical introduction and newly edited music engravings based on the composer'smanuscript.The title refers to the Irish poet James Stephens' technique of writing new poems in English based on Gaelic sources. Includes: 'Mary Hynes ' 'Anthony O'Daly ' and 'The Coolin.'

The Lovers is a suite consisting of a prelude and nine movements which traces the progression of a love affair from its joyous beginning to its painful end. The poetry is sensual and sometimes erotic. This the Schirmer Edition of the Vocal score includes Piano accompaniment and a libretto.

First Edition-This brief Latin motet was written in 1943 as a contribution to a Festschriften in honour of the sixtieth birthday of the president of G. Schirmer Inc. A limited run of three hundred copies was printed and likely never performed.This new edition is the first available to the public.
