Eric Dassie Wendji is a songwriter, arranger and performer of Cameroonian nationality, who has been working since 2001 on the recognition of religious songs from Cameroon, notably through the harmonization and arrangement of several hundred songs, especially folk, for liturgical purposes. . He has thus contributed to the improvement of the performances of choirs of Africa and the world, mainly those fond of songs of African origin.
Eric has also written many other musical pieces for liturgical use (Mass ordinaries, contemporary popular songs and sacred music) for choruses and soloists.
In his musical career, Eric has also been technical director and choral conductor for several choirs in Cameroon, notably at the University of Dschang (University choir and Parous choirs), in the cities of Douala, Foumbot, and Yaoundé (notably at St Peter and Paul Parish of Mfoundi'assi and Foumbot, at Mvolye Minor Basilica, and since 2009 at St Vincent Palotti Parish in Nlongkak).
