Eric DASSIE WENDJI is a songwriter, arranger, performer of Cameroonian nationality, who works since 2001 for the recognition of religious songs from Cameroon, in particular through original compositions, harmonizations and arrangements of several hundred songs, in particular folk, to mainly liturgical use.
Eric has also composed many other musical pieces for liturgical use (ordinary mass, contemporary popular songs and other sacred music) for choirs and solists, which contribute to the improvement of choral performances in Cameroon, Africa and the world.
In his musical career, Eric has been Technical Director and choir director for several choirs in Cameroon:
- in the west of the country, town of Dschang, at the university (University choir and parish choirs of Dschang), in the town of Foumbot (Parish of St. Peter and Paul of Mfoumbot),
- on the coast and in the center of the country, in the cities of Douala, and Yaounde (Parish of St. Peter and Paul of Mfoundi'assi, Minor Basilica of Mvolye, and since 2009 at the Parish of St. Vincent pallotti of Nlongkak).
