Adventure Land was commissioned by Clermont Communauté (which includes the city and suburbs of Clermont-Ferrand) and the CREA (the directors of the local music schools and conservatoires). This work was the opening piece of a show combining orchestra, choir and actors, which was co-written by the author and producer David Bulcourt. The story takes place in the city of Clermont-Ferrand, which an explorer discovers through a series of riddles and adventures. Adventure Land is written in the form of a symphonic march which features a slow and pleasant passage in the middle of the work. The result is a dynamic and playful piece, similar to the style that one might find in cartoons or animated films.

Het verhaal vindt plaats in de stad Clermont-Ferrand, die door een avonturier wordt ontdekt door middel van een reeks raadsels en belevenissen. Adventure Land is geschreven in de vorm van een symfonische mars met een langzame, fraaie passage in het midden. Adventure Land ist in Form eines sinfonischen Marschs komponiert und zeichnet sich durch eine langsame und hübsche Passage im Mittelteil aus. Cette pièce a servi d’ouverture un spectacle alliant orchestre, chœur et comédiens. L’histoire se déroule Clermont-Ferrand où un aventurier découvre la ville travers des énigmes et péripéties. Adventure Land est écrit sous forme de marche symphonique laquelle un passage lent et chaleureux a été ajouté au milieu de l’œuvre. Il en résulte une pièce dynamique et enjouée, dans un style que l’on retrouve dans les dessins animés, les films d’animation ou au cinéma.
