from Centone di Sonate-The collection of sonatas for Violin and Guitar Centone Di Sonate was presumably written during Paganini's stay in Prague from 1828-9. The 18 sonatas in this collection (3 in this edition) clearly show that with regard to his compositions for Violin and Guitar Paganini underwent a brilliant process of maturing. The Centone Di Sonate reflects a compositional finesse not seen in his earlier works.
