This musically diverse piece, full of great strength and conviction, contains three texts that intertwine: The ancient wise man, Rabban Shim'on ben Gamli'el says: On these three things the whole world stands: justice, truth, and peace. Rav Muna comments on these words by adding: Where justice is done, truth is done, and peace is made. Adding to the peace text is the familiar: Hine ma tov uma naim shevet achim gam yachad. (How good it is for brethren [people] to dwell together in peace.).
