Du fa grave au fa aigu-French trombonist Gilles Millière studied at the Paris Conservatoire before embarking upon a successful career. His virtuosity on the instrument led him to compile various well-informed study books for the Trombone including Exercises Over Two Octaves. Millière has led a highly succesful solo career being the first soloist of the orchestra of the Paris Opera and as Trombone professor at the Paris Conservatoire. The exercises in Millière's book addresses the two octaves from low F to high F and includes variety in articulation time signatures intervals rhythm keysignatures and tempo amongst other aspects.
