8 petits préludes and fugues 3 préludes 9 fugues 5 fantaisies-As one of the most famous contributors to classical music ever to have lived Johann Sebastian Bach's (1685-1750) catalogue is extensive. Moreover being an organist himself his Organ works are significant and remain ever-popular to this day. When French organist Marcel Dupr? (1886-1971) compiled the series of Bach's Complete Organ Works it was well-received and to this day remains popular with all organists. The fifth volume includes a selection of Bach's favoured Preludes and Fugues and Fantasies. In addition Dupr?'s annotations in Complete Organ Works comprisefingerings rules on technique and instructions on ornamentation among other aspects. This compilation of J. S. Bach's most loved compositions for the Organ cannot be missed by aspiring performers of the instrument.

This work was written in December 1986 for a recital given by Hakim and his wife Marie-Bernadette Dufourcet at the Sacré-Cœur. It is conceived as a duo using the Grand Organ and Choir Organ in the Basilica. This antiphonal use of the organs is interpreted by the former Rector of the Sacré-Cœur Father François de Vorges as a ''dialogue between God and his faithful people recalling the dialogue of the angels and shepherds''. The theme and variations form of the Fantaisie lends itself very successfully to this well-known Christmas hymn.

Composed by Théodore Dubois Douze Pièces is a set of Organ studies for upper intermediate players. Each piece is dedicated to a famous organist and an index at the beginning gives an English translation of the terms used in the book. It features:  1. Prélude in F 2. Offertoire in E 3. Toccata in G 4. Verset de Procession in D 5. Offertoire in E flat 6. Verset-Choral in A minor 7. Fantaisie in E 8. Méditation in E flat 9. Marche des Rois Mages in E 10. Offertoire in E flat 11. Cantilène nuptial in Aflat 12. Grand choeur in B flat The most famous of these pieces is definitely the n°3 Toccata in G which is also one of Dubois’ most renowned works. This piece also exists on its own as a separate score and can be found on the Musicroom website.

Matthias Weckesser, né en Niederdorla près de Mühlhausen (Thuringe) en 1616 et décédé à Hambourg en 1674, a été formé en tant que musicien par Heinrich Schutz à Dresde, entre autres. Il a travaillé comme organiste à Dresde (église du château) et Hambourg (Saint-James). Il est particulièrement pour l'orgue Jacobson qu'il a écrit ses oeuvres pour orgue élaborer et virtuose. Notre nouvelle édition de 'Les maîtres de l'orgue d'Allemagne du Nord School 'la célèbre série des transferts fidèlement les oeuvres ont survécu en tablature lettre qui, en fournissant un texte modifié de façon fiable d'origine. Le volume 1 contient les oeuvres cantus firmus à base de 8 cycles verset authentique avec 2-7 mouvements chacun dont les mélodies de choral tels que 'Il n'ya de salut vient pas de nous', 'Béni sois-tu, Jésus-Christ)'ou le 'Magnificat' sont variées, ainsi qu'un cycle sur 'Ah, nous pauvres pécheurs' attribué à Weckmann.
