This Clifton Williams masterpiece has been well-known in the band repertoire for decades. In this adaptation for younger groups Jay Bocook has streamlined the instrumentation made judicious cuts and eliminated some of theextreme brass ranges of the original. This superb edition deserves serious consideration for contests or festivals.
