Par CLARKE MICHAEL JON. Mel Bay\'s Children\'s Recorder Method is a new recorder method which stands on its own. There is an imaginative accompaniment CD which makes even the simplest one-note exercise into an attractive experience for the young student, and there are lyrics to all the songs. Large notes are used throughout and each melody is attractively illustrated. Clear and concise instructions introduce technique and notation concepts gradually. These books use many Icelandic songs and folk songs, some of which may even date from the time of Leif Eriksson! This gives the method a unique flavor and allows the introduction of many unusual melodic and rhythmic elements. This second book carries on where the first left off, introducing F-sharp and B-flat and includes some duets. / Niveau : Débutant / Children\'s - Methods / Méthode / Flûte à Bec Soprano

DIE NEUE GITARRENSCHULE by Heinz Teuchert is one of the most successful methods for classical guitar in German. Since it was first published in 1983, the guitar technique has evolved in many respects so that the need of a revised edition has become more and more evident. Prof. Michael Koch has taken up this mission and now presents the revised method in two volumes: the texts, parts of the playing material, and the appearance of the books have been modernized while preserving Teuchertââ¬â¢s methodical approach and the underlying structure of the method. One of its strengths is the diversity in terms of playing techniques and musical styles not only solo playing but also fingerpicking styles, flamenco techniques, and song accompaniment are taught. The BOOK CD AUDIO ONLINE packs also feature demonstration and play-along recordings of many pieces included in the books.DIE NEUE GITARRENSCHULE von Heinz Teuchert gilt als Standardwerk unter den deutschsprachigen Lehrbüchern für klassische Gitarre.

About Suzuki Method
The Suzuki Method is based on the principle that all children possess ability and that this ability can be developed and enhanced through a nurturing environment. All children learn to speak their own language with relative ease and if the same natural learning process is applied in teaching other skills, these can be acquired as successfully. Suzuki referred to the process as the Mother Tongue Method and to the whole system of pedagogy as Talent Education. The important elements of the Suzuki approach to instrumental teaching include the following:an early start (aged 3-4 is normal in most countries); the importance of listening to music; learning to play before learning to read; -the involvement of the parent; a nurturing and positive learning environment; a high standard of teaching by trained teachers; the importance of producing a good sound in a balanced and natural way; core repertoire, used by Suzuki students across the world; social interaction with other children. Suzuki students from all over the world can communicate through the language of music.

For many of the songs harmonic symbols have been added to facilitate accompaniment on the guitar or piano. The first volume places emphasis on correct and musical breathing and tonguing technique. Plenty of space is given to ideas for little improvisations and a selection of well-known songs and pieces encourage motivation and enjoyment as children learn. This child-friendly, practically tested introduction to the recorder is suitable for children from the age of about 5.
