(BA 9047) the editor now presents the ?Havanaise? in the version for Violin and Piano.This first-ever critical edi tion of ?Havanaise? draws on both the composer?s autograph version for Violin and Piano as well as the later orchestrated version. Where the solo part of theorchestral version differs from the version for Violin and Piano the variants are shown in the Violin part as ossias.The editor offers a concise and informative introduction (Eng/Ger/ Fr) on the history and compositional process of ?Havanaise?; a detailed critical commentary (Eng) concludes this Urtext edition.
