An intermediate level etude for Trombone. The range is
medium to low only. The emphasis is on reading in odd
meters. Also, the use of a tone row is mainly due to
the fact that I was beginning studies in that manner of
composition. I haven't written extensively in that
manner, but do use it from time to time rather as a
device, not a basis for the harmony of an entire piece.
The player can amuse themselves by finding the
exception to the tone row I made near the middle.
