Daniel Po´i was born in Brussels. After studying and working as engineer (Electronics & Systems) at the University of Brussels, he immigrates to Canada in 1982 where he works as consultants. At the end of the year 1986, he became Canadian. At the year 1999, he meets the famous harpist Eralio Gill at Montreal. He begins the study of the Paraguayan harp during the spring of the next year. The first day of 2001, he moves to Costa Rica where he develops the mastering of the instrument. He begins to travel every where in America Latina, so he makes some studies with teachers in Costa Rica, Panama, Chile and Paraguay. In Paraguay, he got teachers like Heribierto Leguizamon, Bebito Vargas, Idualbert Romero, and Papi Galan. From 2007, he studies by himself musical theory and begin to make his owns compositions.
