After the War of Independence, David del Castillo went into exile in France,along with another brilliant guitarist Fernando Sor(who had been prefect of police in Malaga during the Napoleonic period)
In the late nineteenth century,David del Castillo came in Paris.He was still very young.In Paris he was integrated very quiqly into the artistic life, where he acquired a certain popularity as a guitarist and teacher.
The famous romance for guitar or Romance Anonymous,originally was called "Romance for Guitar" was composed by DAVID DEL CASTILLO.
