This was my second complete piano sonata. (my forth if you count two student pieces.) In it I attempted to recreate traditional Sonata Allegro form by, amongst other things, strengthening the weight of the second half of the form. (Thus, for example, the first true modulation to the dominant only comes in the recapitulation. There were many other changes).
This was the culmination of a lot of work that was started after reading Charles Rosen's "The Classical Style" many times.
Others have told me they thought I was successful in what I set about to do, which was to revitalize the form for today's era.
I hope you enjoy.

Warning. The piano part is quite difficult and taxing. This is not an easy piece.
