merci Aaron. Cordialement: Francois - - - thank you Aaron. I replay Amertume I find now and then too fast, the reverb is poorly measured, it lacks the bass. What makes me happy is that besides the failure of the record you were able to see the work contrapuntal, almost serial. I discovered at this time, the strength of the fugato: we may say, it was in vain, there is no more beautiful harmony. Sincerely: Francois

I had been meaning to write about this beautiful, meditative piece so reminiscent of a post-modernist version of "Meditation de Thais." Time came between myself and a comment: It is one of my favorite lyrical concert sonatas. I think upon hearing it more than once, I was not yet ready to comment: it stirs up emotions that plague the soul & spirit. I shall tell you this, not anywhere have I felt such bittersweet melodic, inner odyssey. This is so far ahead of its time I fear its appreciation will be underscored. Its infinite canonical style of composition makes it perfect for serialism. Thank you for sharing this oracular, inclement epiphany. Bis! Francois.
