Perfect music. This piece is very much of its period and yet not at all 'dated' in sound. The B section in particular shows exquisite melodic rise-and-fall, equal to that of the great Classical masters like Mozart and Schubert.

Difficulty of all Joplin depenmd to some extent on the player's hand size. Those with smaller hands must guard against locking into octave-and-chord stretches, but train the ability of instant-release for stamina and physical health.
