This is a piece for very easy xylophone quartet I wrote
for my music students. It is suitable for lower to
middle Primary School age. The instrumentation is a
guide only and any combination of tuned
percussion/keyboard/wind or other instruments would

with over 30 children playing the parts and it was
useful for trying out lots of different concepts. I
have included parts with the note-names written in to
help beginner music readers. How you use/play it is up
to you. But please enjoy and any feedback is welcome.
This sheet music is part of the collection of james-darmody :
In my role as a music
educator, I often find it
convenient to write music that
is tailor-made for my students
levels and instruments. This
is a collection that I have
(and will continue to) put
together for this purpose.
Please feel free to use them
as needed. They are generally
aimed at a basic skill level,
whilst still being interesting
music. They are all open to
improvisation and alternate
instrumentation etc as needed.
Enjoy! Sheet music list : › Darmody, James : Disco Fish (For Easy Xylophone Quartet) - Xylophone Quartet
