Note du compositeur: <br>En janvier 1999, Tomoko Mukaiyama m'a demandée de lui écrire un nouveau morceau pour piano. A l'origine, elle souhaîtait que ce morceau soit synchronisé avec une musique techno choisie par ses soins et qui serait pré-enregistrée sur une bande. En discutant de ce morceau, nous nous sommes aperçues qu'une oeuvre pour piano solo aurait plus de substance. Mais l'idée d'un son techno restait présente. Finalement j'ai écrit un ensemble de trois morceaux, appelés "Techno Etudes".
