Tim Knight lives and works in Yorkshire, Northern England, principally as a full time Conductor and Composer. He was a chorister at York Minster under Dr. Francis Jackson and has since become widely known as a Enthusiastic and Dynamic Choral Director, a widely performed Composer, and a Choir Doctor (so say British Choirs on the Net!)
With about 100 works in print, his music has been performed in the UK at many of the Northern Cathedrals and Festivals, with many sacred and secular choirs, distinguished Organists and Orchestras. Because his music is accessible, appealing and affordable, he has been lucky enough to build up a steady stream of performances both in the UK, the USA (Performances at St Thomas’s 5th avenue, Church of the advent Boston, Boston St Paul’s Cathedral, etc.), Canada (the 2002 RCCO Conference featured Genesis with Tim as Guest conductor,) Norway, Holland ,Hungary and the Ukraine. His Orchestral Music has also been recorded by the Czech Philharmonic
During 2007 both Stormscape and Portrait of a capital were awarded prizes or special mentions in International Composers Competitions, and further works were awarded prizes in 2008 (Retracter) ... (lire la suite)

premieres and in the UK and a
CD release of Clarinet music
planned for 2010, this will be
a busy year, why not keep up
with the news by joining me on
facebook at Tim Knight Music
.. I would love to hear from
you.
I have added several new
pieces this year and there are
more to come so if you are
enjoying playing my music,
pleae let me know!
Note Globale : Difficulté : I like this piece! The
interpretation by Leonard
Anderson is quite a bit faster
(120?) than the midi file and
therefore would be more in the
advanced category. Slowing it
down makes it more in the
intermediate category.
Outstanding piece for
developing wonderful tone,
intonation, and clean
tonguing.

Note Globale : Difficulté : I conduct an orchestra of
retired persons in Australia -
average ag about 70,very few
ex-pro, most lifelong amateur.
I have just found this website
and am interested to download
and look at your score, having
been much attracted by
listening to a midi version. I
have chosen 'Good' above
before looking as otherwise I
could not send message.

Note Globale : Difficulté : This peace was quite fun! It's
a piece that would open or
close a concert pleasingly. It
must have been fun writing it.
Great Job!
