Brasleira moves along at a quick pace, but, seriously, it fits in the hands really smoothly. I like the simple 2-part statement on p. 1 and the embellishment on p. 2 is the perfect next step in ramping the number up. At 33ff the inner workings of this piece take on such a nice contrast?and, of course, your recap just nails it. Bravo. A really pleasant, satisfying, and well-written composition.
