knew it would take a long time to arrange, so I had to
wait until I had a lot of time to do it. Sure enough,
it took me several hours to produce this, but I finally
got 'er done. I liked the way Irving Berlin gave God
Bless America an introduction, so I wrote a slow one
for this piece (though no words). Then, we go through
four variations: fast and lively, livelier, slow and
reflective, and triumphant. A nice order of variations
for one of...(+)
