These seven sacred songs are suitable for treble, mixed, or men's choirs, or for solo performance. The texts are taken from various Sabbath services; many are suitable for use as anthems in Christian worship. While all are easy, each has distinctive features-rhythmic extension of a phrase, shifting meters, or harmonic subtleties-which make the set rank very, very high on the simple does not have to mean stupid scale. Please, before you buy another boring dreidel song, look at these. The text, from Psalm 96 (the basis for the Venite canticle), exhorts all creation to rejoice. The irregular rhythms and harmonic-melodic minor patterns in the choral part give the piece tremendous energy, as does the syncopated and wide-ranging piano accompaniment. Unison; piano; Hebrew; Easy-Med. Unison, piano Published by: Treble Clef Music Minimum order quantity: 8 copies.

Based on the Old Testament biblical story of the building of the Tower ofBabel, a tower built to reach the heavens, composer Hayato Hirose hascreated this dramatic programmatic work in seven movements that areplayed without interruption. With skilful detail each movement portrays an aspect of the story of the tower and its ultimate destruction. A magnificent epic work! L’espoir5. Les inquiétudes de l’Éternel6. La confusion7. La dispersion.
