A stirring hymn important to the Mormon religion but suitable for all denominations conveys a spirit of faith and praise despite difficult times. This text is originally written by William Clayton but has alternate lyrics in spots for maximal ecumenism. The piece is accessible to most church choirs and includes Wilberg's signature sound and a climactic ending. Orchestral material is available on hire.

More Than Hymns is a new two-volume collection of anthems for mixed voice choirs featuring extended arrangements of existing hymn tunes together with original anthem-style settings of the texts of several well known hymns. Of the seventeen works in this second volume seven are published here for the first time including new pieces by composers of today: John Barnard Indra Hughes Stephen Jackson Bryan Kelly Barry Rose and Gavin Williams. As a singing teacher choir director and not least as a passionate professional choir singer Irina Rebhuna is perfectly familiar with the possibilities of the human voice. And so it is hardly surprising that the Latvian musician born in 1988 has devoted herself especially to the composition of vocal music. Her sacred choral work Libera me Domine for mixed a cappella choir (SSAATTBB) won the special prize for the 'best composition for 4-6 voices' at the International Composition Competition 'Musica Sacra Nova' 2016. This church music gem in which the eponymous Gregorian chorale is intonated by one of the (two) bass baritone sections at the beginning over a musicaltapestry woven by the remaining voices - and taken up again by all tenors at the end is ideal for ambitious amateur choirs.The idea behind this work says the composer is 'the human reflection on the uncertain on death on Judgment Day or on what is inexplicable to us. Such as humility excitement fear and atonement. The chant ends without ending there is no solution. Life goes on because we ask the following question again and again: What will happen next''

The Trumpet is a brilliant instrument which shines brightly when playing proclamatory pieces. However the Trumpet also has a wonderfully lyrical side. The sound of an unaccompanied Trumpet causes people to take note. It is asound that announces something to come or as the case may be a poignant memory of what has gone before.I wrote the enclosed 41 arrangements and compositions to capture the beauty of solo unaccompanied Trumpet. Two of theselections are written for two Trumpets. Some are well known hymns and some are lesser known lyrical pieces from early American hymnody. There are ancient chants and an original communion setting called The Lord'sSupper.

O that we were there! is a text taken from the Christmas hymn In Dulci Jubilo. It expresses a longing to be present at the Incarnation of Christ but it also conveys alonging to be out of the world oftime and space and in an eternal world.Composed in 2012 in memory of Blossom Barrow this SATB version was first performed at the memorial service for Annabel Freyberg mother of Blossom Barrow at St Mary Abbots theparish church of Kensington on 26th February 2014. The performance was given by the choir of St Mary Abbotsconducted by the Director of Music Professor Mark Uglow.

This work was commissioned by The Liverpool Culture Company Limited as part of the 2008 European Capital of Culture Programme. It was first performed on 28th February 2008 at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral by Josephine Knight(Cello) Elin Manahan Thomas (Soprano) Andrew Kennedy (Tenor) and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus conducted by Vasily Petrenko.
