This new vocal-score edition is being published to mark the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's coronation in June 1953. First performed as the new Queen processed out of Westminster Abbey William Walton's Te Deum is at once regal celebratory and restrained and a beacon among English settings. This arrangement has been made from the original orchestration for full orchestra and incorporates the cuts authorized by the composer in 1963. The piano duet part is optional unless no wind is available. The brass parts are fully cued in both string and woodwind parts. The minimum wind required is 1 flute 1 oboe and 2 clarinets.
