A collection of songs from one of the most prolific American composers of art songs in the 20th century. This new collection of songs contains some of his best known work much of which has been unavailable. Three peviouslyunpublished songs are also included 'Elaine' 'Fragment' and 'Song Making.'

This new collection includes many of his best-known songs all of which were originally published as individualsheets but most have been unavailable for many years. Two previously unpublished songs appear here for the first time: Elaine and Fragment. Additionally we have made careful transpositions of many songs making them accessibleto more singers. (For each transposed song the original key is also indicated.) This is first-rate collegiate literature.
