Bob Curnow took the original orchestration (as recorded by Stan Kenton's Innovations Orchestra) and scored it for tradition jazz ensemble instrumentation. This is a wonderful Latin piece, with a nifty swing section in the middle. Manny was so innovative in his writing, that the piece sounds like it was written yesterday. Manny gave this project his blessing. 5-5-5-3 (can be played with 8 brass).
