This facsimile of an original by Friedrich Johann Schobert is part of our Dominantes collection. Six sonatas for the harpsichord with accompaniment Oeuvre XIV The accompaniment parts are ad libitum. Edition: Paris, l'Auteur, Lyon, Castaud, s. d. (=1766). The first sonata is a quartet: keyboard part, 2 violin parts and bass part. The first sonata is for quartet ad libitum (2 violins, cello, harpsichord). Sonatas 2 and 6 are for harpsichord and violin. These sonatas can be played on solo harpsichord or piano forte without string accompaniment. Collection supervised by the musicologist Jean Saint-Arroman, professor at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique et de Danse of Paris and at the CEFEDEM Ile de France (Training Centre for Music Teachers).
