Composed by Richard E Brown. Arranged by Dacker Music. Concert,Contemporary,Instructional,Standards,World. Score. 10 pages. Dacker Music #3222435. Published by Dacker Music (A0.814751).

This unaccompanied contest/recital duet for middle school flutists is in the form of a theme with three variations. The theme is Botany Bay, a popular folk song from Australia.

It is not a duet with a more interesting first part and easy second part. Both parts are of equal difficulty and importance and both get to play the melody. Thus, the players must be aware of who, if either of them, has the more important line all the time and adjust accordingly.

A separate part for each player is included to do away with awkward  page turns.

Grade 2   -   Duration 2:00
