Composed by Thomas Weelkes. Arranged by Lisa Ochoco. Renaissance. 16 pages. Lisa L Ochoco #3506777. Published by Lisa L Ochoco (A0.559612).

Thomas Weelkes was a very little known English composer who lived in the late 1500's through the early 1600's. It is said that he composed over 100 pieces, but only a handful of choir music survived in its entirety today. He was probably friends with Thomas Morley, another English composer and organist of the Renaissance period.

This madrigal is playful and quite delightful, with meters changing between 2/2 and 3/4 throughout the piece. At just under 2 minutes, this would be a good filler for your recitals.

This arrangement is written for low flute choir - 3 altos, 2 basses and 1 contra bass.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
