Highway Postcards is a four movement work for brass choir that is 8 1/2 minutes long. It is appropriate for high school or college students. The instrumentation is: 2 Horns (trombone substitute part for horn 2 is included), 2 Trumpets (optional flugelhorn on the second movement), 2 Trombones and 1 Tuba. The four movements are: Beltway Processional, Blue Ridge Rhapsody, Rush Hour on the 405, and Lakeshore Drive Fanfare.

Each movement is inspired by a different highway and can be played alone or in combination with any of the other movements. Each part gets a chance to shine individually and there are plenty of tutti forte parts as well.

If you are looking for a fun piece to play that is not too difficult, consider Highway Postcards!
