Brass Ensemble - Level 2 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.773735

By Celine Dion. By Irving Berlin. Arranged by Anthony Giamanco. Jazz. Score and parts. 18 pages. Whole Tone Press #4633147. Published by Whole Tone Press (A0.773735).

This unique and stirring arrangement of Irving Berlin's "God Bless America" is scored for brass quartet and vocal solo (tenor or soprano). The brass plays primarily an accompaniment role to the singer. However, at the return to the "A" section, the 1st trumpet takes the melody, then the voice re-enters at section "B". The voice part could alternatively be sung by a unison choir of sopranos and/or tenors. If you have a good boy soprano, this could provide a great showcase for his talent, especially if he can hit the high A-flat at the end! This medium-easy work is ideal for patriotic celebrations and concerts. Audiences will love it!  .
