Composed by Richard Wagner. Arranged by Ralph Sauer. Opera,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 26 pages. Gordon Cherry #5017695. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.811093).

Wagner's Die Walküre, the second of the four Ring Cycle operas contains some of the richest music for the low brass section. In Ralph Sauer's fantastic arrangement of Excerpts from Act Two, we hear music from the following leitmotifs: Fate, Crisis, Death, the Ring and the Walküre. They are all ingeniously woven together by Wagner to create the magical canvas of the Ring Cycle.

This arrangement of about 5 1/2 minutes in length is for 8-part Trombone Ensemble with optional Timpani and is appropriate for advanced performers.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
