I know that the music of Sigfrid Karg-Elert is probably not well known amongst the Woodwind fraternity, however when the notes are extracted from the Organ scores, a completely new light is shed upon the music that he wrote. As with the other pieces by Karg-Elert on this site that I have arranged for Clarinet groups in particular, there seems to be no chord extension barred from the ongoing harmonies, elaborate rhythms on the inner parts and such invention!
Maybe with a couple of hearings you will get what I mean! I'm sure that in a generous acoustic, this music would sound glorious.... just like the Organ...only different!!
