Brass Ensemble Horn,Trombone,Trumpet - Level 2 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.782037

Composed by Edward Elgar. Arranged by Aaron Hettinga. 20th Century,Classical,Holiday,Standards. Score and parts. 6 pages. Aaron Hettinga #6093081. Published by Aaron Hettinga (A0.782037).

For commencement ceremonies, Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance march is a familiar backdrop to the processionals. This arrangement provides the most familiar portion of this march in flexible instrumentation to allow for any group of 3 brass players to make it work.

While originally scored for Trumpet on Part 1, Horn on part 2, and Trombone on part 3, any brass instrumentation can cover the three parts for complete coverage. In practice, having all parts available to all players adds an extra level of flexibility when necessary to repeat the piece, where players can rotate parts throughout to add variety.
