The basic arrangement calls for Piccolo, 3 C Flutes, Alto, and Bass Flutes. However, if the ensemble does not have a Bass Flute, a second Alto Flute part has been transposed to cover this and a C flute may be used in place of the original Alto Part. Additionally, there is a bass clef version of the Bass Flute part, which may be played on cello, bassoon, or string bass ad lib. There is even an alternate flute part to cover the piccolo part, if necessary.
