Flute Choir,Woodwind Ensemble Alto Flute,Bass Flute - Level 3 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.560116

Composed by George Frideric Handel. Arranged by Lisa Ochoco. Baroque,Christmas,Sacred. 18 pages. Lisa L Ochoco #6450809. Published by Lisa L Ochoco (A0.560116).

This is one of my favorite movements of Handel's Messiah and it turns out that it makes a great flute choir piece too. The 1st alto flute gets to shine here, and the part can be done as a group or just a solo, as long as the melody can be heard well above the rest of the choir.

I hope you enjoy playing this arrangement!

Scored for 2 altos, 3 basses, and contrabass flutes. There is an optional contra-alto in G that doubles the 3rd bass part, and an optional cello part that doubles the contrabass.

Duration: 4.75 minutes
