Composed by F Schubert. Arranged by Catriona Melville-Mason. Concert,Standards,Wedding. Score and parts. 5 pages. C Melville-Mason #6477749. Published by C Melville-Mason (A0.956609).

Although reasonably successful in his native Austria, Franz Schubert (1797 – 1828) achieved widespread recognition only after his death, when a number of influential 19th Century composers – including Mendelssohn, Schumann, Brahms and Dvorak – discovered and championed his writing.

Schubert’s output was considerable and covered many genres, including vocal works, symphonies, incidental music, opera, chamber music and items for keyboard.  This Moment Musical is taken from a set of 6 short piano pieces – it is number three in the collection.

This arrangement for intermediate-level duo of B-flat clarinet and bassoon makes a charming addition to either a recital programme, or to general repertoire.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
