Berry (A0.1316956).This is a jazzy version of the traditional Christmas carol God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. Nobody knows who wrote this traditional carol but it's been around since at least the 17th century. Here it is in a violin duet arrangement which gives both parts a chance to enjoy the melody and the accompaniment. It's most suitable for players who are at least intermediate. There are some challenges in the rhythms, and in switching quickly between pizzicato and arco. However, it doesn't go above the first position.
