Composed by Arthur Richardson and Ross MacLean. Arranged by Dennis Ruello. Contemporary. Score and parts. 36 pages. Chicory Music #6535109. Published by Chicory Music (A0.734594).

The ‘Too Fat Polka’, of which the recurrent chorus was ‘I don’t want her, you can have her, she’s too fat for me’. The song, recorded by the then famous but now generally forgotten American broadcaster and entertainer Arthur Godfrey, was a big hit in 1947 when people may have been more amused than offended by gentle mockery of the obese.
This Intermediate Level German Band arrangement includes: a Full Score, Voice (Opt.), 1st and 2nd Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba, Piano / Accordion, Acoustic Bass (Tuba Sub.) and Drum Set .

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
