Originally released in May 1967, "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You" was recorded as a single by Frankie Valli of the Four Seasons that ended up being among his biggest hits. Reaching number 2 on the Billboard charts after its release, the song became an instant classic and is now among the most widely requested wedding songs. This arrangement for two-violin and cello trio was originally written for a wedding ceremony, but it will also be perfect for receptions, proposals, pop concerts, solo & ensemble contests, cocktail parties, and any other occasion you need to get your audience singing along! Rated intermediate -- all parts remain in 1st position almost the whole time, and there's nothing very tricky here except some syncopated rhythms and a key change in the middle. This chart will be playable for students and easily sightreadable for professionals.
