Bugul Noz, also known as "The Night Goblin," is a mythical creature from Breton folklore.  Described as a small, mischevious, and melevolent creature with glowing red eyes and a hat made of leaves, Bugul Noz is said to emerge from the shadows at night to play tricks on humans such as stealing their food, hiding their belongings, and leading them astray.  Some legends also portray Bugul Noz as a shape-shifter who can take on various forms to trick and deceive its victims.  Despite its mischievous nature, Bugul Noz is also considered a protector of the natrual world and a symbol of the wild and untamed forces of nature.
