This is an instrumental version of my song "An Exmas Carol" for alto and guitar
The song uses a melodic quote from the old Christmas Carol
"O little Town of Bethlehem" in the guitar part,
whilst the melody instrument laments the fact that many of us have ceased
to hear or understand the message of the Christmas story.


Oh Lonely child of Bethlehem
How quiet you do lie
We cannot hear above the din
your message from the sky
And evening stars together sing the same old Christmas piece
But in our loves we're fast asleep
and strife will never cease

and never shall return
