Composed by French trditional (Noel nouvelet). Arranged by Marilyn Rummel. Christmas,Classical,Easter,Sacred,World. Score. 4 pages. Demand Music #6208685. Published by Demand Music (A0.849978).

This piece is a popular Easter hymn in many Christian churches, but the tune is an old French Carol called Noel Nouvelet. It is published under that title in F dorian. This version is in D dorian (key signature for C major) to facilitate congregational singing.
The melody is beautiful, but short and repetitious; the 5 verses, each different in character, provide interest and show what the harp can do at an intermediate level.

It is published as a harp solo, but can easily be adapted for worship services with singing.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
