Composed by Traditional Irish Melody. Arranged by Serena O’Meara. Celtic,Folk,Holiday,Irish,Sacred,Wedding. Score and parts. 6 pages. O'Meara Music #5888973. Published by O'Meara Music (A0.803980).

This pentatonic melody dates back to the middle ages. It is performed as a slow ballad or an energetic march and has many titles. Similar to the English hymn tune, Kingsfold, Star of County Down has been used for numerous Hymn and Christmas Carol settings.

Arranged for Lever or Pedal harp and set in the key of em, the melody is shared equally between parts. Each part is of equal difficulty. The piece starts and ends with knocking on the soundboard. Dynamics are clearly marked.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
