Arranged by John Hines. Celtic,Classical,World. Score. 48 pages. Afghan Press Music for the Harp #4803725. Published by Afghan Press Music for the Harp (A0.797325).

Interesting Early Music arranged to be played mainly in the fixed hand position. The small staff at the beginning of each piece tells what strings to play. Numbers above the staff represent the fingers of the right hand, numbers below represent fingers of the left hand. Using this method, one can easily pay attention to fingerings, notes and rhythms without constantly looking at the strings.

Table of Contents:
Bergamesca, Cantiga in 3, Cantiga in 4, Cantiga in 6, Conductus, Drive the Cold Winter Away, Edi Beo, Green Groweth the Holly, Kalevala, O Admirabile Veneris Ydolum, Sumer Is Icumen In, Saltarello, Variation on Bergamesca and dance music primarily from the Playford collections. Also contains ancient Irish airs and tunes from Scotland during the reign of King James, some ensemble pieces, as well.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
