It was part of the soundtrack of the film Blues Hawaii by Elvis Presley, released in 1961. It is an English version of "Plaisir d'Amour", by the French composer of German origin Jean Paul Egide Martini in 1784. In the 1970s, it would be used as the ending of almost all Elvis concerts. Elvis Presley Version The song, which topped the UK music charts in 1962, has been featured in numerous films, including Coyote Ugly and Lilo & Stitch. The single was certified platinum by the RIAA for sales of thousands of copies. In the US, Presley's version topped the Pop and Easy Listening charts for six consecutive weeks. Elvis sings it live in the 1970 documentary Elvis: That's the Way It Is.
