SKU: A0.924440

By Jethro Tull. By Ian Anderson. Arranged by Joseph M. Chopp. Rock. Score and parts. 25 pages. JOSEPH M CHOPP #4370052. Published by JOSEPH M CHOPP (A0.924440).

Bourée in E minor is arguably one of the most famous pieces among guitarists.   This instrumental, flute-based song is an adaptation of the piece "Bourrée," written by Johann Sebastian Bach for lute.

The arrangement begins with the entire "Bouree" composed by Bach, followed by the "syncopated jazzy feel" from Jethro Tull's flautist Ian Anderson.

Each instrument has an opportunity for solos throughout above the persistent, bouncing bass line.  The rhythms are challenging, but once mastered offer a fun piece of music for musicians and audience alike.

This is an excellent way to expose audiences of all ages to Bach.

Playing time = 4.25 minutes.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
