Originally written for piano, it is a humoristic fusion of illustrations, music, prose poetry and calligraphy, the latter three provided by Satie. This fine 9-movement arrangement of the Suite by Charles Decker for standard brass quintet (Trumpets in b-flat) is 6 minutes in length and includes the original narration by Satie (translated into English). Appropriate for moderately advanced performers.
