This famous song by the Killers is sure to get the crowd going! A great sing-along, perfect for festivals, pub gigs, or just a fun piece to add to a concert. The iconic opening is played by the second trumpet - with a technical pattern requiring a light touch and some good flexibility. The tuba takes the limelight in the first verse, before taking on the role of bass, providing a solid rhythm. The trombone also gets the tune, and the trumpets have the option of taking some parts up an octave if they choose. This would suit an advanced student group - grade 7+.
