Composed by Jeremiah Lawson. Contemporary. Score and parts. 24 pages. Jeremiah Lawson #5370915. Published by Jeremiah Lawson (A0.985321).

Sonata for oboe and guitar is a roughly 18" work in four movements, book only, 24 pages long.  The movements are as follows:
I.  Allegro (sonata)
II. Larghetto (sonata)
III. Scherzo
IV. Presto (sonata-rondo)

This work is in E major from start to finish and the overall style is like Haydn meets Thelonious Monk meets the band Rush.  The guitar part is very demanding.  There are a lot of meter changers and uptempo passages throughout but the forms are all very clear and simple 18th century type forms.
